success + addiction = …
6 years ago, I seemed to be living the dream; well-paid job, clear career path, nice car…
But behind closed doors, I was addicted to alcohol & cocaine… completely out of control.
Coming to terms with abandonment and the sudden death of my adopted mum to cancer when I was 18 had finally caught up with me.
Each hit was an escape. Temporary relief from a reality I didn’t want to face.
But in December 2021, everything changed…

the spark…
After 8 months on furlough, I met with my boss to talk about coming back to work.
He said, “Before going on furlough, you were one Dan. Now, you’ve come back as someone completely different. I don’t know who Dan is anymore.”
My identity shattered.
At that moment, I knew I had to face the truth and stop running from my feelings.
I finally admitted that I couldn’t figure things out alone, so I started working with a hypnotherapist….
new identity…
After overcoming my own struggles which were primarily centred around childhood trauma, I earned a diploma in Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy.
I then trained as a Senior Performance Coach at Total Mental Performance (TMP). Whilst there I delivered over 1,000 hours of performance coaching to ambitious entrepreneurs.
I also speak on podcasts, online, and at events around the world on trauma and mental performance (pictured.)

Take Control…
Deciding to turn my life around was the best thing I’ve ever done…
The rewards have been life-changing:
1. Calm confidence
Once I stopped taking drugs, I discovered I was a lot stronger than I thought.
2. Getting better at everything
Without drugs dulling my brain, I got better at reading, focusing, exercising, communicating… everything.
3. Better relationships
Once I stopped drinking alcohol and taking drugs, I connected with people on a deeper.
Getting sober wasn’t about losing something; it was about creating something better.
Now, I help others who are feeling stuck, just like I was.
